wtf???? lol. Buddy there is no Australian firmware. the n900 was and never will be released in Australia. didnt you notice when you first turned it on it wouldn't let you select Australia. and if there was Australian firmware you wont be able to silence the camera sound.

Now not sure which country fimrware this is as the phone is orginally from oversea's.
I installed Navfirm to see what is avalible. and i see that there is Australian Firmware for the n900 listed. The phone is not even on shelves here yet i dont think. Even though some stores have it as listed in stock.
Am i ok to download the Australian firmware then do the whole flash maemo thing which im reading on how to do now.. A site i was linked to a few weeks ago was a nokia site i think where i had to put in my IMEI number to gain access to the maemo flasher and firmware image files.
