Sorry, originally posted this in the wrong section!

Hi all,

Well I bought Sygic mobile maps europe the day it was released just as I got my N900, sadly, I cannot get the phone to work with various network things at work so I've sold it.

Therefore I'm just looking to get a bit of cash back from buying the sygic software.

I'll accept £30 GBP, with which I'll send the original Sygic email containing the registration code and download link and instrucs etc. Obviously if there are any problems with anything I'll refund immediately.

I have a verified paypal account and am a premium member and will only accept payment through paypal. PM me if interested!

Cheers.

Does that even work considering that the registration is based on your device's unique IDs ?

hi, yea, sorry someone alerted me to that fact as well, I don't think it will work on any other N900's.

Yep, if you already activated it it's too late to sell it on.

Hey again, just to let you all know that I emailed Sygic and explained the situation and they say it will be fine to install on another device (it is not installed on my N900 that I sold) even though I have previously used the product code. So the offer still stands. Like I said originally, any problems and I'll refund immediately.

Hi fmc159,

I'll go for this. If you pm me your paypal and email, I'll sort out the payment now.

Hi, I've tried to PM you about this, but I don't think they're getting through because there's nothing being saved in my sent messages. I can see you're online, can you acknowledge my intent to buy so we can sort it out?

You've got to tick the box at the bottom of the message if you DO want it saved.

On a side note, I've been in touch with Sygic in the past couple of days and they are planning to release a UK & Ireland variant for Maemo (presumably at 30 Euro as per their other platforms).

Thanks spanner, a useful default 'no save' value there. I'll look out for checking that one next time.

Thanks also for the heads-up on the UK & Eire version. Having the rest of Europe still appeals for the price here, even if it does take up extra space.
