The notification is a small icon that represents the type of the notification (Call or SMS), and after 1 second it changes to the number of missed calls or SMS's, and back to the type and vice versa.
If both happened (missed call and SMS) it shows the two types notifications back and forth without the number.
I'm waiting for permissions to upload it to extras-devel (I still have the autobuilder to deal with - hope everything will be ok, I've heard it builds for PR 1.2 now)
Hope it will take a couple of days, and after that it will be available for testing for whoever want to try and help.
I've attached some images to show what I'm talking about.
