YouTube has changed the HTML. I had to update the gPodder code to make downloads from YouTube work. The relevant patches are there:
http://gpodder.org/commit/55deea04
http://gpodder.org/commit/cf226f4a
This should help other developers update their code to make it working with the new website.

gPodder 2.4-2 has just been promoted to Extras-Testing with support for the new YouTube HTML pages - downloads should be working again: http://maemo.org/packages/view/gpodder/

@thp: How long does it take for the update to become available? Is it just available in devel?

yesterday, when I tried zoutube, it was still working.
Today, when I tried to open a video (the search still works), it will give me a black screen.
Similar behavior is found in the digia @scene Youtube app. It will also still display the search, but it will not load the video. However, it will give me an error message saying that the video has been removed.
Does this have anything to do with the layout change on youtube.com itself? (Try this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1hI1BI_Ua8)
Or did Youtube change it's API?

Could someone who is sophisticated in that matter investigate please?
Thank you in advance!
