The current release runs inside a window and allows you to play with themes and to test your own designs.
You can download themes from Gnome Look here

If you want to design your own themes then download inkscape and get drawing.

The clock has three modes
Automatic - smooth seconds hand -lots of CPU
Quartz - tick tick seconds hand -15% CPU
Eco -no seconds hand movement 0.3% CPU
You can set it to drop back to eco after 15 or 30 mins.
future releases will include

-date and chronograph functions
