Okay guys, couple of questions about promoting to Extras. Got package QtIrreco to be promoted and it has software called lirc as dependency. Lirc is found currently in Extras-devel so does it have to get promoted from extras-testing too?

And second if QtIrreco is put in Extras repository, how about the new packages of program. Version 0.3.0 is currenty going there but 0.3.1 contains bug fixes but since PR 1.2 is running late it's not final version. It has atleast some UI problems what Ive noticed.

Thanks.

lirc is currently in extras-testing along with Qtirreco - As lirc is a dependancy of Qtirreco and not a user application in it's own right, it will (should) get auto promoted from -testing to extras when you promote Qtirreco.
New packages will also need to go through the -devel > -testing > -extras steps - If you upload 0.3.1 to -devel, 0.3.0 will stay in extras until 0.3.1 has been through devel then QA in -testing, then been promoted to extras - Only then will it replace 0.3.0 in Extras.
