On an open source system I think i should be able to apply a patch when it's available. I see that Bug 6936 is resolved so this should make the device usable as I originally intended to use it.

Can I apply the patch to my current software? Can I compile PR1.2 myself to install it before Nokia officially releases it?

Cheers,
reto

Short answer, no.
Long answer, resolve dependencies and compile, you will break SSU and you will have to reflash when PR1.2 comes out.
