in symbian and most portable media players with widescreen displays, you have a few scaling options with videos.

if the video's aspect ratio is not the same as the screen, you can stretch the image to fit the screen, or you can zoom in on a widescreen section of the video to display it as widescreen.

however, i notice that this isnt available in the n900. i thought this was quite unusual given that the n900 uses a 5:3 ratio screen, which is a ratio that is not normally used for videos.

does anyone know of anyway to add these options, or if it will be added in future?
