I managed to overwrite my /bin/sh so no shell!

been partying since we had this national twoday special holiday for partying called WAPPU..

And i was tired as hell and started making OC scripts for titans kernel i had installed on thurday and just somehow managed to overwrite my /bin/sh with a script!!!

HOW do i fix this?

install midnight commander or something to fix it? flash the whole thing? xterm is obviously busted now so how screwed am I?

still writing this from my n900 so maybe this is recoverable...

aaaaargh need to sleep but gootta fix this first.

I attached my /bin/sh here (had to add a ".zip" extension to attach it, just remove it). I guess all you have to do is SSH into your device and replace the file.

Just to be clear: I didn't zip the file, just added the ".zip" extension.

"thank you!!!! LOL havent ever screwed up anything as root before.. "

Well too early to celebrate success. Doesn´t seem tobe posssible to ssh the file - no shell no game...

Seems to be theres no way of getting my ip. Cannot install anything... Which all ofcourse makes sense... but... hmm..

Im able to navigate using midnight commander. Now the problem is how to get the /bin/sh file to the phone since it seems im not capable of mounting my sd card an the networks arent working.
I should be able to manually mount the sd with MC, right?

Can you not use your n900 to access this thread, download the file directly to the phone, rename it in MC and move it with MC?
