Yep, It's my first scratch, even though really small. It really sucks because the phone had been free of any damage for 6 months. I have it invisible shielded and everything. Sorry, I just needed to get that off my chest. I hate the metal part around it. It's so vulnerable.

metal marker? I bought one. Will let you know if that's any good for the minor scratches that I have on the edge

I'll try this in about 12 hrs I have to work first. It's an Eding metal marker, plain black

Well, my N900 has been going around for about 2 months naked, and there is absolutely no scratches.

The inside of the battery cover, however... Somehow a scratch made it in.

Sorry to hear that but how did you manage to scratch it?

Luckily i dont have any scratches but when I opened the back panel it was like a damping zone full of garbage mostly dust and hair no idea how hair got there

The more interesting thing is the quality of hair thats usually found inside electronics. (ie. where the hair is from)

I think I may of accidentally dropped it in the same pocket my keys were in.

What I had bought is an Edding 8405 metal marker but right out of the package this marker won't mark not even a little stripe!!
Blast I'll return that marker
