Mine is at like 85%
Generally, how much room should be available?

Mine is also at 85%.. but I have Devel and Testing both enabled. I think it comes with like 60-70... but.. don't quote me on that..

i have testing and devel enabled, and i get 78% when they r not enabled i have 73% used and 60.3mb free

Where in the FS is the rootfs located so i can create Symlinks and delete unnecessary files? Ive already Done so to the usr/share/ folder but mine is at 65%

the rootfs is /

It's the "root" of the device.

ETA: Be careful symlinking things.. some things can't be moved and have the device still boot.

There is a script floating around to move a bunch of stuff for you.

/ is your root and master.

Thanks for the responses. I feel normal now. Does anyone know if consumption of rootfs has a direct effect on battery life?

A full rootfs has no direct effect on battery life.

mines at 22.49% and its perfect, ill need to remove some apps when the next update comes but ill run a full clean flash for that anyway, extras and devel permantly enabled, i get an extra 10% if i deactivate them

I don't go by %. 20 megs free seeims to be plenty. I start getting nervous at ten.
