Get the flasher tool. Run the command line command BEFORE you attach and hold down the u button. The flasher will tell you it's waiting for a device. Then attach the N900 to your PC and keep holding the u button. The flasher will grab it during one of its reboot cycles. It may take it a couple of times but it will catch.

Maemo Wiki is your friend... And also common sense too.. Which firmware do you think you should choose? Well, PR1.1.1 UK variant..

It's scary when that happens, but when you learn how to reflash properly, you will feel a new freedom and ability to cope with disaster -- I've been there. It is almost 100% sure that reflashing will help you.

It isn't that critical which firmware you use from those offered, oddly enough. And even better might be to reflash using the instructions in the Overclocking wiki -- you can reflash very quickly and be back to normal.

Hopefully, you saw the zillion warnings in the overclocking docs that something like this might happen. The fact is, though, that I haven't seen one N900 lost to overclocking yet and you probably won't be the first.

Well, what about first trying without flashing the eMMC, and if it does not help trying again with flashing the eMMC?
What's so hard about trying?

Many appologies for seeming impatient but i don't want to do any more damage than i already have.
