So I ordered a battery that was suppose to be OEM and for the N900/x6/5800. I received it a couple of days ago, Hologram was of a different shading, battery looks exactly like the one on my N900.

I charged it and began testing it yesterday. System check shows about 900mah on the battery. Today, it shows 1000mah. I assume that's normal.

Something weird started to happen. If I reboot my phone, it would loop-reboot after the NOKIA screen. After 5 times, it boot through. I wasn't at home so I don't have my original battery. I would also constantly loses phone connection where I normally have full bars.

Once I got home, put my original in, no more problems. Can the phone detect that this is a fake battery? Or is the fake battery causing problem for the phone? Should I just stop using that fake battery in case it explode and took my phone with it?

Just thought I share this with you guys.

I would recommend not buying anything OEM form Ebay , golden or super batteries are bull***

It looks like there are some problems with the battery remove it NOW or it might damage the phone. Those cheap batteries dont have voltage regulators or they are really crappy. Stay away
