interested in a weight scale app that would weigh in ounces. is something like this possible ?

Almost definitely possible, but I believe we're currently living with a bug that makes the pressure readings somewhat wrong.

May be tricky calibrating it until this is fixed.

Anyone ever seen anything like this for older nokia tablets?

Man my question was just a shot in the dark. Im amazed that an app like this could exist.
This would be such a usefull app for me and hopefully for others..

calibrating the pressure reading is somehow done in mypaint. but not reads the same pressure in every part of the screen that could be a problem. But anyhow you must put something small and rigid on screen so you can have fixed size contact.
Or you can measure weight width the accelerometer.
