I have been using the older Firefox build Browser (Minefield) on my N800 for a while now. I have tweaked it to be close to MicroB in speed. This browser also can be customized with A lot-O Bling (addons). This is the only browser I use when doing heavy duty browsing When you need to have 2 dozen tabs open. I would like to know from the N900 people how this browser works for them. The only complain I have is that it sometimes crashes when playing flash video.

Never tried Minefield (on my N810). Do you have the 'tweaked' one available for download? I'd be curious to give it a spin.

I think I have a backup of it on the N800 let me see if I can post http://rapidshare.com/files/38621850...armel.zip.html You will have to google speed tweaks for firefox and play with it yourself. I will list some of the addons I have on mine. It might be unstable around heavy flash sites I have found the more you play with it the more stable it gets. The deb file is also here http://www.sendspace.com/file/go88a0

Thanks, downloading now.

Out of curiousity - what repo does Minefield come from?

I have no Idea. I will have to look it up. Here is more pics with many tabs open. Pics of the addons and plugins I have installed. I would like to see how this browser does on a N900 with overclocked cpu. I see a lot of people whining about not having any new apps for their N900 to play with. This browser has a mountain of addons to tinker with

Screen shots from the N900 users. Has anybody installed it yet? You can also post shots of any of the hundreds of Firefox addons that are working for you. It is working nice on my N800. Some feedback on N900 users with twice the muscle would be nice.

I run Minefield on both of my other computers too, so this should be awesome.
