What does your /etc/resolv.conf shows ?
Back it up, then
Do "nslookup google.com" and put that ip in your resolv.conf and retry again.

open "X-terminal" application and then type
more /etc/resolv.conf
and also
nslookup google.com
i have firmware version 3.2010.02-8.002.
it came like this when i bought it.
when i try installing any applications, it just says
"Preparation for installation, Please wait"
and stays like that forever...
please help me
