i have tried to get my head around the rootfs space thing but still find it confusing...

however just found what looks like an easy and quick way to find what apps are taking the rootfs space, grab and install an app called diskusage (link below) and then double click the rootfs area, it will scan the whole file structure and show you what folders are the biggest...

in mine looks like mozilla is taking a large chunck... need to decide what to do next.

It amuses me that a site dedicated to the device can't even spell maemo properly in their URL.

i had not spotted that one... interesting
After the package scan, in the list view, are the packages in red in the rootfs area?
