i just downloaded the new fmms from extras and i followed all the steps shown below for tmobile in the US.....

Create a new APN
Run fAPN
Create a new APN (I call mine Tmo-mms) and click add

Edit APN
go into Settings (where all the icons are)
go into Internet connection under connectivity
click on connection
highlight your NEW APN (Tmo-mms) and click edit
Hit next on the next window
In access point name, put in "wap.voicestream.com"
Leave everything else blank and hit next
Hit advance on the next window
Put a "check mark" on use proxy
In http proxy:, enter 216.155.165.50,
In port #, enter 8080 (or 9201 if 8080 fail)
Put a "check mark" on Automatic Configuration
In web address, enter http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
Hit SAVE, and then Finish

but wen i try to send a mms i still get the error 101 network is unreachable please make sure your apn settings are correct

please helppppp

I just recently setup fmms using tmobile. The only setting different that i have is the web address: https://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms

Also remember that you must connect to ur Tmo-mms internet connection before trying to send or receive mms messages. You can test out your setting by sending an mms message to yourself.

Hope this helps

does fmms still use access points created by fapn? i think it doesn't. i don't even have fapn installed but entered all the settings in fmms.

I dont even know, but what finally made mine work was changing back from port 9201 to 8080 under the configure settings in fmms

i'm not sure either, but I just tried installing and running fmms without it and it didn't work for me, gave me the "bad APN" error.

I got mine working! And I needed fAPN installed to do it. I have Tmo, and here are my settings:

I named my APN "TMo MMS"

in internet connections its settings are

AP name: wap.voicestream.com
User: (blank)
Pass: (blank)
>Advanced settings:
[x] use proxy
HTTP: 216.155.165.50
Port: 8080
- all else blank. remember to press save and done as you step yourself out of the internet connection setup.

In fMMS:

Phone number is (exactly) +1xxxyyyzzzz
resize image: medium
connection: Polite (haven't tried it on rude, yet)
under Configure the settings are:
AP name: TMo MMS
user: (blank)
pass: (blank)
Proxy: 216.155.165.50
Proxy Port: 8080
MMSC: http://216.155.174.85/servlets/mms
-no advanced settings

When i want to send receive MMS I have to manually change to the TMo MMS network, since I'm in polite mode. And then go and create an MMS or click on any in my inbox. The connection seems to be pretty slow (I have rarely sent MMS messages in the past, but I wanted a "full feature phone). Hopefully they get this to work better in "havoc" mode (so that it can run in tandem with standard phone functions)

I will also mention that in that time I rebooted a couple times and even removed the battery after powering down at one point. You never know if that may have helped. In the tutorial video (that I'm too lazy to link to) he reboots after setting the new APN in internet connection.

Good luck!
