Please guys can one of you help me i have a 4gb sdhc card, i have formated it to default on vista fat 32, put it in the n900 and can not see it. why? what have i done?

i also downloaded the free ovi trial sygic maps it runs ok but i can not see any of the related folders to add my custom poi's into.

I have now purchased the full eu version and because i could not see the trail on the phone memory i decided to buy a sd card to install the sygic map software onto so i could add my custom poi's.

as i can not see the sd card in file manager what do i have to do??

Did you close the back cover of the phone? you will not see the SD card if the back cover is removed.
Next time, try to search the forum first, before quickly running and pressing the "new thread" button.

thanks, efekt, i accept what you say about searching, however putting in the correct text to correspond with the help i require proved difficult, as threads like drunken laughingstock as chuck norris etc has nothing in relation to my memory card problem, that is why i placed a specific post to my specific issue, apologies anyway and thanks for your help, perhaps there should be a sub catergory relating to these little useage errors that occur by uninformed users such as i...............???
