Does anyone know if Vodafone Australia plan to release the n900 on any of their plans? preferably the 49 cap plan.

I already know that Optus carry it at the moment on their 49 plan +$12 handset charge.

I also know that Crazy Johns have started stocking them...as far as I'm aware Crazy Johns is a vodafone dealer, and it would seem that way from the terms and conditions page on their cap plans.

So, any inside info from Voda Au? I would really like to get this phone for my next phone, and would prefer to not to have to go through the rigmarole of changing carriers etc...

sorry for double post, just had to add real quick that I'd also prefer to not go through Crazy Johns, as I've heard bad things about their service, plus there's no Crazy Johns store where I live.

Also, I'm up for early termination of my voda contract through the loyalty program they have, so this would be ideal, if anyone knows if/when voda au will be gettin the n900 that would be tops, thanks again,

Vic.

I think maybe Allphones?

I went with Crazy John's BECAUSE of their service!?!

It is also available at JB HiFi, Harvey Normans & Telechoice - but I don't know if they do Vodafone connections...

well i rang my local (nearest) vodafone store, and they said to give them two weeks and they should have it in stock. So fingers crossed I'll have myself a cute little nokia n900 very shortly...at this stage the lady i spoke to said they'll probably be on the 79 cap, but I think to stay competitive they should offer it on the 49 cap with a 10 dollar handset fee, which is still cheaper than the optus plans, and I'm pretty sure the crazy john's deal was on the 49 cap.
