Just thought I'd say thank you, Nokia and everyone involved in PR1.2. Heard about the update today, downloaded the update today, sh*t myself when I thought my phone had died today, and am now sitting here with PR1.2 running and my N900 just as tweaked as it was before I started -and running a hundred times better. I know it's not the easiest phone to get on with, in fact I've actively dissuaded certain people from getting it, but that's half the reason I like it and it's the closest I've come to a phone with a full desktop experience.

I still can't believe half the stuff this f***er can do.

Anyway, in contrast to all the moaning again a big thank you to all involved, keep up the good work.

all those information (cpu, temperature, etc.) are coming as default with pr1.2 or are you using some program/widget?

Thank you so much for reminding us that we still need to thank Nokia. Further can you please name the application you used for the clock on your desktop as well as for changing the battery icon in status bar.

I must say, I fully flashed the N900 including mmc, reinstalled some of my favorite applications, OC'd and I am now have all my wishes complete, this is THE SUPERPHONE.

I was IM'ing my wife, sms'ing with a buddy, playing music and receiving emails through Nokia messaging with a couple of web windows open in the background and everything was just humming along when a buddy called me over Googletalk and I suggested we try video call and it worked seamlessly with ZERO slowdown on anything. It was truly a wow moment of how far mobiles have come and an experience no other device can give me.

Dam. Can't wait for tommorow. I am in the US and to make situation worse, I have Win 7 64 bit so I am stuck with "Suitable USB device not found, Waiting" message.

PS - Thanks Nokia!
