Guys,

What should I do 1st before updating to PR1.2? got stock N900 here without any overclock or something. I also dont have EMMC.

Take ur BACKUP!!!! and than upgrade!

if your dependent on the global FW, wait a while and then use OTA to update ..make sure to back up first, if it asks to use the PC then use NSU to update your N900!!

Thans man! but sad to say there is still no available PR1.2 update here in Asia.


OTA means over-the-air? I can get an update via application manager? sorry for being noob

OTA shouldn't delete anything, but its always best to back up !!

Edit: yes OTA means over the air, it should appear in application manager

It deletes your apps, conversations and settings. Contacts and anything in MyDocs stays unless you flash the eMMC. If you just do the FW update, you dont need to worry about contacts or mydocs, just backup using the built in app.

Just read through the pr 1.2bugs thread and some users advice flashing before installing PR1.2, how do I do this?....Plus I have just 35.6MB left on rootfs...is this of any negative consequence in tryna update to pr1.2? Please help. I live in Nigeria and still dont see it OTA.
