Hi Guys,

Just flashed my device for the first time to the latest pr1.2. because I was on the vodafone variant of 205.1 before.

In the status screen at the top, i can see a simcard with a line through?

Also there are no internet connections either?

I flashed to the latest UK generic pr.1.2 if that helps?

My current version is 1.2009.42-11?

Thanks,

I had exactly the same problem, I was on 205.1 as well. I reflashed it again and everything worked fine.

I don't think my latest verision was correct though? I'm currently reflashing with RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.42-11_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin?

Hopefully that should work....

I reflashed with RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.19-1.203.1_PR_COMBINED_203_ARM and everything works well.

Something went wrong with your flashing.

The fact your firmware version is "1.2009.42-11" means it's the first firmware that was available on "pre" devices. It won't support your sim card till you upgrade it to better version.

PS. That sim card with card line through means your sim card isn't supported or isn't inserted into device.

I did it before many times, no issues. The only difference I see is no longer Contract WAP there is "Vodafone Internet GPRS" instead. That showed me why Vodafone has different version of OS. They where trying cover their lies about unlimited internet and poor infrastructure. I have to survive another 12 months with them but Will never ever back to them again.
