I had the same problem. I had to disable Hide User Agent in Settings and it started working.

Thanks, I had totally forgotten about Hide User Agent!
But I thought that the Ovi Store now had some paid apps, but I could'nt find any... ow boy, the wait continues...

Did that work for you?
I flashed my N900 again with a different image and still I can't get into Ovi Store. I don't have agent or any software loaded either.

I've updated my US N900 with the global firmware (since I live in Brazil, I thought this firmware would be more suited for me). But now the Ovi Store is not working, tells me to update my device using the App Manager. Is this happening because of the global firmware? I'm about to reflash it with the US firmware, but I prefer not to pass through the hassle of downloading and reinstalling all the apps again if I don't have to, or if it won't fix anything.
So any idea of what's happening?
