Hi,

I'm trying to see if I can delete the stock games that come with the N900 (Mahjong, Chess, Marbles, Bricks/blocks), I can locate where the games are stored /usr/games but when I cd in xterm to this folder it jumps me to opt/usr/games....I use Ubuntu Lucid on one of my machines and haven't seen this before. I ran sudo gainroot so assumed I could roam freely. Is this a security precaution against removing the games? or am I doing something wrong?

Cheers

/usr/games is a symlink to /opt/usr/games

Nokia-N900:~# ls -l /usr/games
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 May 26 12:59 /usr/games -> /opt/usr/games

Can't you just use apt to uninstall them properly? By guessing it looks like the packages you want to remove are:

osso-mahjong
osso-lmarbles
osso-chess-ui
maemoblocks

@stlpaul that worked, thanks. I had assumed that the files in games were the actual packages so I was using the incorrect name.

@zwer thank as well, I viewed the files in cuteexplorer and that doesn't seem to reveal if its a symlink or not. Your ls -l obviously does! Very useful.
