Nokia held a press conference in Kenya for the products they are introducing to emerging markets. One of the nuggets in that conference is the existence of a bike charger:

Now that looks sick! The kit includes a bike mount for the phone (no idea if it works w/ the N900 in landscape position), a bit of charger electronics (that provide a 2mm hack instead of micro-USB, but the blog post gives you a solution for that) and a side tire dynamo.

I am looking forward to using it on a Schmidt hub dynamo and my trusty N810!

A good product from nokia, but bicycle dynamos are definitely nothing new. Maybe they do have some good electronics to handle the inconsistent current though.
