Hey guys,

I noticed that with the new firmware on the N900 when I use Sygic Mobile Maps, it asks me if i want to enable the GPS. If I tap "yes" it will be enabled and after quitting the app the GPS will still remain enabled. To disable it, i have to go to "settings", "location", and uncheck the box next to "enable". Is there any way to make this simpler by making the GPS go off by itself?

Hi shaahin_flamenco, you can also tap near clock/battery/info bar and uncheck it, however for me although it's unchecked, it's still blinking in info bar and status says it's searching

The GPS usually shuts itself done when it's not used anymore, you probably have some app running in the background which uses the GPS.

Yep, you right, it won't go off unless no apps are using it.
