A lot of nay sayers should read this review. It was good and objective.. still the n900 come out as a winner. I am not sure how they did the browser test though. When i have compared with my friends.. the n900 have loaded the pages faster.

Wow, long article. Took me some time to finish it.

N900 - a tank <--- ha, read on and you'll find that it's an advantage in author's point of view.

@AlMehdi:
One interesting part is the webpage loading time. It's obvious in the figure he provided the N900 fell behind all the tests. One of the reason behind these disappointing figures is that the author might fail to notice the default browsing behavior of Android. The default browser *does not* load the entire page but instead loading a fraction of it. He may check the setting of the android browser and he'll see. N900 humbling finishes the entire page just like any browser on PC does.

Nevertheless, the author still said "In practice, N900 is undoubtably a snappy phone". I'd better email him to clear his doubt. ^^

Btw, I believe the author could do a more indepth review by running some standard benchmark programs on all the phone. We'd really like to see a direct benchmark of the processing power, which we believe N900 could stand out of the rest.

Interesting and long review. In the end it feels like he is giving N900 little praise just because of potential. It´s like family´s lastborn child that mother and father pamper

And i also looked browser speed reviews and thought that how he manged to get iphone to load whole webpage (also with flash?).

He also confuses the 3.5mm headphone jack for a 1.8mm jack.

He needs to check his calipers or data, methinks.

Erm pr 1.2 is the last update form Nokia

"The N900's one major caveat is that PR 1.2 looks like the last of Nokia's firmware updates for the platform, as it will not run MeeGo. For that, you'll have to wait for the rumored N9."

Most of us could tell you that.

He's wrong on PR1.2, there are known updates in the pipeline (QtMobility, possibly Qt4.7) that indicate there is work on on PR1.3 (whether it will be 'productized' as Nokians call it, is a different matter)
