all that i understand is "my phone is slow"

Its hot too?

You should check if your processor is doing something at 100%. install the HTOP package and check if something is using your device

i was suprised how resilient mine was to water, took it out my pocket the other day, it bounced off the concrete and the back flew off, battery fell out, and the main body of the phone ricocheted into a puddle, exposed back down. :O but i dried it out thoroughly and left it a while before putting the battery back in and all is well, so i think it may well be saveable! are you sure theres no moisture still trapped inside?

Run 'top' in the xterminal to see what drag your device down.

I have had the same issue and usually happen if I don't restart the phone after 2 days or 3. I have read that pulseaudio is responsable for some bugs and slows down that our N900 experiment.

I write some info in this post: talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=711813&postcount=39
