Exactly the same problem, unistalled the working one, reinstalled sorry tried to reinstall and get this error....

You mean working the already installed Extra Decoder Support ?
I have done this uninstalled that one and tried V0.4 but still face the same problem

Please run apt-get autoremove and then apt-get install decoders-support .
I'm looking at the output and seriously cannot make sense of it. Anyone knows how can I get reverse dependencies of the offending package, i.e. which packages depend on it? Or conflict with it?

apt-cache showpkg decoders-support
might be of some help here.
