Oh my god you are annoying fractals! (Sorry - RANT!)
General rule of thumb is people log onto the internet at different times. I would suggest
a) Waiting for an answer,
b) Emailing the developer
c) Searching here and the internet whilst you wait?
d) Listening to AndiThebest - sensible answer!

i am not... nombmonkey... i did search i did read... that post... but everything seems to be so complicated...
nobody tells me that if i have n900 i must tu be into it progr. and in special. Linux...
and sorry if i am a pain...

Open a terminal
type "echo $LC_MESSAGES" and remember the output
change dir to /opt/maemo/usr/share/sounds/mapper/
mkdir "what-you-just-had-to-rmember"
copy the files to that directory you just created
should work! and it is all described
if that was to fast for you you may find someone here who give step-by-step instructions or get yourself familiar with using a CLI (command-line interface) at maemo/GnuLinux
