Hello all,
I'm experiencing some issue while using Applicatio Manger. Every time I launch it the following command is being executed:

/usr/libexec/apt-worker backend /tmp/apt-worker.to /tmp/apt-worker.from /tmp/apt-worker.status /tmp/apt-worker.cancel BM

This is causing the CPU being at 100% for some minutes.

Is anyone else experiencing same issue?

Bye
William

Yes, same for my device. It's close to unusable when the application manager is active.

Indeed. I ended up managing packages from command line (which I have to confess I'm more comfortable with).

just no clue, but the job is started right after any new app is installed. That makes no sense, IMHO.

Here is a bug which looks very similar

This is exactly what happens with me, and always has. I agree that it is covered by the previously cited bug report.

It's still bloody annoying, though.

Just encountered this before actually installing an app, so i'm not sure if it's the same bug, but i voted for that bug report (making it 1 vote so far). Vote...

Classic example of arbitrary Nokia decision making. Couldn't just fallback to the no brainer of tagging with lat/lon if network isn't accessible, could you Nokia?
