Gqview is the slickest image viewer for linux, IMO, so i built a .deb for Nokia

It's not maemoized/hildonized. Just run from an xterm.

Compiled for 770 / IT2006 but it might work on other OS/Devices too.

If there's enough interest, i'll do a proper port.

I tried it and it works great - fastest image viewer on the 770 I've yet seen.

The config dialogs are too tall for the screen and the scrollbar doesn't kick in until the dialog is about 800 pixels tall (I just checked it on my desktop machine), so a first suggestion is to modify when the scrollbar kicks in (so you can see everything on the tablet).

Tried to install it to my N800 - no luck.

Incompatible package error on the n800...

Il'l set up an it2007 build environment and repackage it, once it's properly hildonized. Keep an eye on this space.
