I've spent the last few days trying to find live streams that the N800 can play. Although there's lots of threads on live streams at the moment they all relate to the n900 and not a lot is said for us legacy users.

!. Can the n800 play rtsp video feeds? and what about sdp? I can't get it to play either. I can't get TVCatchup to work, not the main site, mobile site, or iphone site, at any resolution.

2. What can it play, technically, and where can I find feeds if they still exist?

I've tried an enormous number of links in the last two days and I can't get any flash, some wmv or any Real feed to work. These are the only ones that work for me:

Can anyone shed any light on whether I shuold be able to see more, or failing that, post some working links to other channels.

My build is 5.2008.43-7 and I've tried playing feeds with Mplayer, kmplayer and mediabox using worldtv links and links on http://www.tvforus.com/news.htm http://www.freefootball.org/upcomingtv.php http://teli.mobi/ m.tvcatchup.com iphone.tvcatchup.com and a couple more.

I'm not a linux expert so please help in layman's terms where possible.

Any help much appreciated, I've exhausted my searching capability on this one :-)
