Is there a different way to lock the N900? It's just the non-sensitivity of the lock screen just really annoys me sometimes. When I'm casually whipping out the N900, I've *NEVER* managed to unlock it in a single try. It's always at least twice, and usually about three or four when I finally change my hold to a 'serious' hold and look/type properly. It's just another of the N900 ridiculosities.

It's so annoying I will actually go into the settings and disable the lock if I know I'm going to be stationary for a while - but that kind of defeats the object of having a lock.

Is there something more usable?

i agree, i dislike the device lock that comes with the phone. especially since sometime the phone is unresponsive and it wont enter my password... it would be nice if someone had the skills to develope a improve lock for this device that is more responsive and more user friendly.

Oh yeah, I forgot to put that in - sometimes it is unresponsive and I have to turn the phone off... and it always seems to happen when I need the phone NOW.

It's immensely frustrating and is becoming a serious deal-killer.
