Here at my work location we do not have Wifi, but I do have a Bluetooth modem in place on a dail-up ISP, this system worked great with my former Dell X51V.

Is there an option that I am overlooking with the N800 other than the GSM/CDMA configuration for cell phones?

Both units pair up ok.. Any help please?

Before you pair with the phone, you have to go to Control Panel, then under connectivity select phone. This is where you set up the connection to your phone. Once you select the provider and system, it will pair with the phone.

if your modem supports the DUN bluetooth profile, it should work.

Thanks for the response.I now have the bluetooth modem paired successfully with N800, I do get a dialtone via modem speaker and a short lived 20 second connection and than the bluetooth connection just vanishes? 'Bluetooth connection lost' flag on N800?

Problem fixed and working properly!

Don't call level 2 support @ Nokia which equals 0 support , the techs claim that the N800 and BT modem will not work ! Want to bet..
