How do I disable the function that allows to remove shortcuts by long touch on desktop? I have some icones removed or moved over the desktop a few times a month.
I rather touch the gear that appears at first touch to enable desktop stuff editing.

You can install Modified Hildon Desktop and then use its /apps/osso/hildon-desktop/key-actions/disable_edit entry to disable desktop editing.

Thanks for your fast reply, but I prefer not to install that package. I hope there is other way.
