Hi All,
I recently downloaded the MMS app using the application download manager. In addition to that I downloaded a few games and a KMplayer.
All of a sudden my battery is draining a lot faster than before. It lasts only for 4 hours or so. The phone gets really really hot. I have to keep switching it off and taking off the battery to cool it down.
I think I should reformat it or something. I have no clue how to.
I have since uninstalled the MMS apps. However, in my internet connection, it keeps showing the mms as internet instead of t-mobile.
On the whole, I love my N900, and really would like to get it work normal again.
Please help.
Shan
apt-get install fmms apt-get autoremove fmms --purge

I'm not sure if it helps, let's try:
The first line reinstall the fmms and the second line remove it with purge option which is supposed to remove the configuration left.Code:apt-get install fmms apt-get autoremove fmms --purge
If it doesn't work we shall try something else.
