why dont you just extend from the composite end of the standard tv out cable?
composite cabling and adapters should be easy to get hold of!

The 3.5mm tv out on the n900 is the same as a 3.5mm camcorder cable. So if you can get a 3.5mm male-to-female camcorder cable that is another way to go.

Are you sure? I've tried that with a Sony DV camcorder cable, but it didn't work. There a chance the problem was on that particular TV set, though.
I've lost all cables that came with my N900... :-(
where can i buy a 5m tv out cord (in australia) i cant even find 1 and the nokia 1 is too short
i cant even find extension cables for it
