Guys I've been using enhanced kernel for quite some time and I managed to install/brick phone/remove/reinstall it couple of times via xterm now I want to get rid of the icon from menu is it possible? Can someone type which command do I need to type?

yes, you can do it. you will need to remove (maybe rename or move somewhere else) the file

kernel-power-deinstall.desktop

from here:

/usr/share/applications/hildon

HHmmm so if i type
Code:
sudo gainroot

cd /usr/share/applications/hildon

rm kernel-power-deinstall.desktop
Will it work without affecting kernel and anything related to it?

yes. you lose the ability to deinstall it later (cant be done fromc application manager) so you can move it elsewere

but you have the trick

ok so I think I get it.... basically in case i want to remove it i can simply use maemo flasher by following http://wiki.maemo.org/Kernel_Power#Deinstallation instructions as I did before?

Yes exactly. You can remove it by following the guide on the wiki page!
