after using Canola2 since I obtaining my n810 (2yrs?) I am tired of having to constantly adjust volume and reinstalling every now and then. Just the other day after adding music to the library Canola2 would not load any ogg files! After some futzing with settings it would not recognize my removable card. I ran Canola cleanup and reinstalled which solved the problem but only the Music button showed up at the start up screen.

Installed Kagu and what a difference. easier playlist generation and the volume is consistent. Not just from song to song but when it shows 100% it is 100% unlike canola2 which could be set at 100% but playing at 80% or other. Kagu had no problem loading all my music.

I gave up on Canola2 a while ago for similar reasons. I loved it, but the latest beta seemed to introduce more problems than it solved.

Currently I am flicking between the Nokia media player, with the Now Playing Notification utiity, which is great, but the interface is slow.

The other player I am using currently is Quasar. Nice player, but occasioanlly buggy and a fiddly interface for on the move.

Glad to hear that Kagu is still getting some love on these boards. It was my favorite media player when I was still using my n800--it had features like sleep timer that other apps did not have at the time. I also liked the way it scanned for and treated cover/artist art much better than the other apps (though ukmp was very good at that too).
