could have the option to place duplicates on the desktop with a symbol to show what it does

we all have people who we only ever phone, text or im so it would be nice if when you select the contact from the desktop it would open up in to a call or straight to a convo box for sms or msn' or whichever im service you want it to rather than just opening the contact and having to scroll thru the menu to select how you want to connect
