Well, i assumed that you normally donīt use the Switch while using the Camera application.
You start the application, hit the switch and there you go.
Maybe we can extend it to the point, that you have to hold the Switch for 3 seconds to lock the screen? Maybe thatīs fixing your doubts? ;-) (Or the other way around)
I think that even if you have it in your pocket, you wonīt accidentally hit the switch because you need a certain pressure.
If i am wrong correct me please ;-)

After entering the Camera application, we can normally switch onto the Other mode by clicking on the icon on the screen.
So, letīs say i was taking a picture just now, but i want to record a quick video of someone. To do this, i have to go into the menu and choose what i want to do, in this example going into recording.
But what about adding the functionality of using the lock-switch to change modes? I mean, normally nobody would use it in such a situation, so would it be possible to write a mod to use it?
For me, it is a nice feature we could use a lot.
Tell me if not, but iīld really love it if it would be ;-D
I am not yet familiar with coding for Maemo yet, so this is only my Idea.
