When I try to download and "save to device" any files from any website of any size, I am receiving the "Not enough memory in target location" error. It's very frustrating . To reproduce I only need to do a "long tap" on the google image on the default google page and select "save image as" and select any location (eg. documents, root (MyDocs), create new folder) and I get the error. Once the error is displayed I can't get rid of it and need to do an "End current task" to close the browser.

I have checked the output of a "df -h" and there is PLENTY of space on all volumes, including rootfs (95.1M Free) and /dev/mmcblk0p1 (25.9G Free!).

The only information I can find on this error is related to rootfs being out of space when trying to install an app or update...but this is not my problem.

I have a feeling it could be a permissions issue, anyone have any suggestions?

simply reflash your device to pr 1.2 or you can try to format the on-board memory.

Well reflashing is kind of my last resort! Any other ideas? I've tried flushing the '/home/user/.mozilla/microb' directory and deleting the '/home/user/.browser' file...

try saving somewhere else?
or changing the extension?
use mass mode and and see if u can copy things from pc to mobile
or use mass mode and try to scan the emmc for errors
thats right click, properties, tools and then check for errors

No matter where I try and save it gives me the same error, that is everywhere under '/home/user/MyDocs'. I'm not sure what you mean by changing the extension. I can copy files to it fine from my PC, and via X-Term I can also vi new files and mkdir directories with no problem at all.

Tried the diskchk when connected in Mass Mode with no luck.

This has really got me confused.

is it with all files?
or jus a particular one?
and just in browser?
or filemanager and other stuff too?
back up ur data, dont format the emmc, jus flash ur firmware,
not much would be lost

It's occuring for all file types and yes, it only occurs in the Browser, everything else is fine!

While that error is typically related to unauthorized permissions...
Have you tried another web browser? Fennec? Tear?
