joking, i think its like an emmc flash for the clear device thing.
and for the restore defaults is that it restores all the factory settings of the phone

Though it's probably better to flash both rootfs and eMMC if you want to truely restore to defaults. Also, any lock code you've set should be returned to the default 12345 if you plan on reselling it, some people have complained about this when purchasing from ebay etc.
menu>setting>in setting tab> clear device or restore original settings
