No problem here... You do have either a headset or speaker plugged in, correct?

The headset cable doubles as an antenna...

wait, the radio cant output through the n800 speaker?

It can. But you still need an antenna. With FM, that will never change.

bakerbaker, Texrat is right. It may not be obvious that you need something plugged into the headphone jack to get sound out the speakers, but that's the case with the FM applet. You can then direct the output in either direction (speakers OR headphones/earbuds) with the applet controls.
