"This grand ecosystem has worked steadily to produce a rock solid platform capable of supporting every usecase possible"
"Enter Meego, slick, shiny, cross platform and fully supported.
A veritable Prince Charming offering to cure all the deficiencies."
"...to port the first shining light examples of GTK/Hildon applications within the handset image."
Are you for real...?

Wow, the pessimism that plagues this "community" is both jaw dropping and disgusting....

This planning is underway at the moment and Maemo and Meego team members are working together to port the first shining light examples of GTK/Hildon applications within the handset image.

Hey Conny,
we have a good many people looking, but one of the principle quotes comes directly from stskeeps
http://mg.pov.lt/maemo-irclog/%23mae...08-25T18:57:49
There is interest and discussion in the #maemo-ssu channel involving a bunch of maemo luminaries including MohammadAG and Jaffa and a load of others, as well as ongoing discussions in #meego and #meego-arm between a large group of maemo enthusiasts.
lbt is looking closely at the OBS with x-fade and the bunch there moving things on.
stskeeps, if something as wide reaching and community beneficial as this is not a keynote then I don't know what is.
I submitted a keynote to be presented at the Meego Conference this year.

I also twittered about it, so please retweet as well as thanking here if you like the sound of it

I will need your help to flesh this out and to actually advance the points raised so that by the time the conference comes round we can have somethings actually implemented and tested.
liqbase sketching the future.
like what i say? hit the Thanks, thanks!
