It's possible your media is in an area that is not being indexed by Tracker. Provide more information

Try moving your songs in the "sounds" folder, mine are there and it works fine.

If you don't have free space in /opt, tracker will fail and you wiil have an empty media player until you free some space and maybe restart.

All my media disappeared when I upgraded to PR1.2. I had to rebuild tracker database by opening xterm and running
Code:
tracker-processes -r
After a couple minutes of work, everything was back.

same day, same issue.
yesterday it was ok, approx. 1'500 songs in library. all i did between was a backup on sd card and then installed the newest fennec alpha.

rootfs is 83mb; home 1gb; mydocs 21gb; mmc1 4gb free

tried to reboot two times but didn't change anything. next step is removing fennec alpha...could this be related?

thanks in advance.

Used to have this issue all the time. Think was a problem with tracker on my device being super slow. There is a reset tracker command that could help but I don't know what it is.

I have not had the problem in a while but then again I have not transferred music by usb in a while (as I do not have a working usb port). I transfer over wifi using winscp now but don't think that is reason my tracker works better now. Probably just a coincidence.
