I think it only shows for Skype calls where the remote user has a webcam configured.

Did you tap on the "Call" on top while you're talking to the other person? it should have start a video call...

Make sure that the person who you want to call, has the latest version of skype installed

how did you solve it? i have the same problem!
when i calling some one in my skype in n900 Iam not found any opiton to choose web cam or video call there is only voice call
how to get the video working ?
