Hello all

I have been trying to move my sms messages from E71 to N900, but no luck. I have tried to synch from the ovi suite but it did not work. I have tried to restore from a back up for E71 but it did not work either.
I have done some research on this site but did not any clear answer or solution to this.

Any one could point the correct way to move sms messages from symbian to N900?

yeah i dunno man, i tried that when i got my n900 and it didn't work either. i was under the impression that they were planning on fixing the SMS sync to the n900 but maybe they never did...
i would keep searching or hope someone else knows and replies, i think there is some way to do it but i'm not sure if i really remember that or it's just wishful thinking. e71 runs s60 which is a really popular os, i think any tool made for that OS would get you half way there.

actually i think what i read was some poor bastard sent his messages to himself somehow, over the cell carrier, and swapped to the n900 before they arrived. there must be some way to block them from being received but allow the sending...
oh i guess if you had two sim cards you could do it
but still, then all the messages have the wrong timestamps and senders.

even im in need of my msg's from my Nokia 7710 to Nokia N900

I used this tool but it did nothing. the messages did not show up!!
